So I’ve always been sort of leery of photo editing software. It feels like cheating, in a way. But today I downloaded picasa, since I needed to at least be able to crop and rotate photos, and wanted to find an easier way to watermark the images for the website. But then I started to play around with the software, and somehow this:

And suddenly I’m kind of excited about the possibilities. I’m also kind of liking these two:
