I figured out the black and white setting this afternoon, and I think it was a little easier to compose the shots when I didn’t have to worry about color. Most of the shots  I took were in color, but most of the ones I liked were the black and white ones. While I have loved the 50mm lens for taking pictures of the kids, I am really liking the macro lens for these kinds of shots.

I also learned it is much more challenging to find things to photograph while stuck indoors during nap time.

This one would be my favorite, if it didn’t turn sideways when uploaded. I think before too long I’m going to have to figure out some editing software.
